Silly Place Cards Connecting to the Past #Crayola

It’s the holidays and a big part of all the holidays is eating. Whether you have a formal table setting or it’s more of an informal meal, adding a personal touch is a creative way to get the kids involved. When I was younger, my grandmother always had place cards for our very formal meals. I always loved looking for my card (even though we sat in the same seats our whole lives). It was a nice personal touch that made it feel extra “fancy”.

It’s been a few years since we had a meal at that table. I miss having dinner at that table with those place cards but this year I’m going to start a new tradition with my kids. We don’t have as formal of a dinner now but I think having special place cards, at least for the kids, will be a special way to make the kids feel more involved with the prep. It also is a small way that I can remember those that aren’t here anymore to set those place cards.

My kids are huge fans of the Silly Scents from Crayola so I figured it would be fun to create table cards with their favorite markers. With the help of the Silly Scents Sticker Maker, the kids went to town decorating place cards for everyone.

I love how easy it was to make custom stickers with the Silly Scents Sticker Maker. The kids loved that they could make their stickers smell with the help of the mini silly scents markers. We have very fragrant place cards ready for Thanksgiving! This fun set is perfect for personalizing anything your kids would want to put a sticker on with their own twist! Grab yours now for holidays and you and your family can customize in time for the rest of the holiday season!
