  • Don’t travel alone. If you travel alone, you might that your fear is much worse. If you take someone with you, then you can be distracted and find a way to stay calm. Also, you might find security in the person that you are traveling with, which can make the flight more comforting. If you do need to travel alone, then let the staff know that you are scared so that they can help to comfort you throughout the experience.
