Our Thoughts
As you may know we are HUGE Scooby Doo fans in this house. My son has been obsessed with the classics and reboots his whole life and we love it too. However, I always wished that the ladies were portrayed a bit differently, especially Daphne. Warner Brother’s new live-action Daphne & Velma is a fantastic way to share these ladies in a whole new way! We absolutely loved this movie. It keeps with the theme of the old Scooby-Doo but only focuses on teenage Daphne and Velma solving the big mystery in a modern day high school setting. It was perfect and does a great job giving these ladies their own turn to be the stars while keeping with the vibe we all have come to love with Scooby mysteries! I love the whole Scooby Doo gang but if I had to pick a favorite – it would be Shaggy! I’m 40 and I still love watching this show!
I love Velma, which I wouldn’t say. However, I now grew up to feel that her smarts are so much more of a value to the show and love that about her. Plus, each character brings something to the show, which is awesome.
My favorite classic Scooby Doo character is Scrappy Doo. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.
