Camp Walt Whitman Summer Program for Kids and Families!!! #Summer

Camp Walt Whitman, New England’s premier sleepaway camp, is currently running two special and unique promotions just in time to plan your summer.

We are already thinking Summer and planning out some fun adventures. It helps to think of warmer times with a huge snowstorm looming on the horizon! If you’ve ever thought of camping you should check out Camp Walt Whitman’s options!

Family Camping

Camp Walt Whitman’s Family Camp is 5 days (August 13-17) of fun-filled activities for the entire family to enjoy. This all-inclusive family vacation allows everyone to feel like a camper again.

Family Camp has the low-key vibe that CWW is known for, while providing amazing opportunities for everyone to enjoy. Each morning family activities are organized to enjoy together (swimming, art projects, waterskiing, zip lining, tennis lessons, etc). Then, in the afternoon, separate activities for children and parents are provided. Kids get to go play and have fun with other children and CWW’s best counselors, while parents can enjoy adult time relaxing down by the lake, taking a tennis lesson, sailing across Lake Armington, taking a yoga class, participating in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, doing an art project, and more.

Each night there is a traditional camp evening activity after dinner for the whole family to enjoy. These might include a campfire complete with staff skits and s’mores, a mini Olympics, a luau, a scavenger hunt, a talent show, and even a square dance!

After our evening activity there are additional activities available for teens and tweens to enjoy. In addition, camp counselors are available to babysit at night which provides parents the opportunity to hang out together for adult time around the campfire or playing different games in our lounge while enjoying a local beer or a glass of wine.

Family Camp costs $700 per adult and $500 per child. Children 3 and under are free. Call camp 800-657-8282 and mention US Family Guide to receive $250 off Family Camp this summer. (Offer expires March 31). For more information or to enroll check out the Camp Walt Whitman’s website!

Sleepaway Camp for Kids

For families considering sending a child to a sleep-away camp in Summer 2019, the process of finding the right camp can feel overwhelming. Camp Walt Whitman’s one week Pioneer Camp, July 29 to August 4, 2018, provides a wonderful first step towards making the transition from day camp to sleep away camp for children finishing 1st or 2nd grades this June.

At Pioneer Camp children have the opportunity to experience the magic of Camp Walt Whitman first hand. We have developed a balanced and structured program that allows campers to enjoy a wide range of activities including sports, swimming, arts & crafts, traditional camp events and fun evening activities. Each day is structured to help Pioneers get a feel for camp and have fun in a safe, nurturing and friendly setting. Pioneers will make new friends, try new activities and see what camp is all about. This acclimation eases the transition into camp for both children and parents, making the process of acclimating into a longer sleep-away camp session for Summer 2019 more comfortable and successful.

Tuition for Pioneer Camp is $1250. Save $250 off tuition by using code PIONEER2018 Offer expires March 31. Fore more information or to enroll visit their site.
