Our Thoughts
I love history and all things related to history so I thought that this book would be an interesting read. While it’s not my normal historical book, it does present some fascinating facts on the Laws of the Commonwealth of West Africa. I would classify this as more of a reference book than an novel (sources are expertly cited for further information). It has very well written and easy to follow facts that are presented clearly on a very difficult topic. This book shows how one law system can shape the system of another country… a topic I had never thought of before reading this book. While this isn’t a book for everyone, if you find texts on law and law history interesting, this is a great book for you. It’s extremely well written, informative and a fantastic reference for anyone needing information on the subject.
