Music and reading are two of my favorite things. I love how music can help children memorize stories and get them ready for early reading. In fact it has been scientifically proven that music enhances literacy (you can find more in the study by Northwest University). There is just something about putting a story with music that makes kids instantly more interested. We have a bunch of book lovers but I’m sure any parent would love a way to keep kids interested in reading!
Are you looking for an awesome new way to enjoy some summer reading? Ralph’s World Rocks and Reads is the way to go. This just released compilation cd is a mix of songs from previous books by Ralph Covert. It also includes it’s own story You Do the Math. It was a perfect story using different shapes to teach about inclusion. It’s attached right to the CD cover so it’s perfect!
