Education is at the core of Mystic Aquarium’s mission to inspire people to care for and protect the ocean planet. From formal educational programming to fun and interactive activities, developing the connection to the ocean starts early and involves children of all ages. Mystic Aquarium is proud to offer Toddler Tuesdays this March to engage small children and their families in gaining an appreciation of all things aquatic.
Every Tuesday in March, Mystic Aquarium will present kid-friendly activities at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm- from sing-a-longs with local children’s musician Mary McTeague, to tales of the sea during story time, to an “underwater” party with SCUBA divers and sea lion behaviors at underwater viewing. Plus, on March 29, toddlers are invited to bring their favorite plush in for a check-up by Mystic Aquarium Veterinarians during the Cuddle Clinic.
All activities are free to members and with paid admission. A full schedule is available at MysticAquarium.org
