Mr G presents The Bossy E Review and Giveaway

When you think children’s music do you cringe? I run a small preschool and believe me, I know just how terrible some of it can be. However, if you can find music that helps children have an interest in learning and sounds good, scoop it up fast!

I was so excited when I got a chance to listen to “Mr G presents The Bossy E!”. It’s a fantastic cd with a great sound. It’s not at all like any other children’s music! It’s cool music and the lyrics are educationally themed. The kids think they get to listen to great music and they’re singing about loving books. My favorite song on the cd was “Everything’s Free at the Library”.

Mr G is a PARENTS CHOICE AWARD winner and his previous two CDs are bilingual! Perfect for introducing kids to another language. You can check out more about him on his website. Bonus! If you’re in the Western Mass area you can catch him in Northampton on October 26th!

Check out his music video for “The Bossy E” .

We love children’s music around here! My toddler is so into music so we play it often 🙂

Some kid’s music drives me crazy, but I really like the Silly Songs With Larry. We often listen to audio cd’s of kids books, while in the car. Anytime kid music is recommended as tolerable though, I’m all over it.

I don’t have any small children anymore. When mine were little, we’d sing children’s songs together – even in the shower! I do miss those times. However, I guess I never lost the child in me. I still find myself skipping and singing children’s songs from time to time.. and to think I am almost half a century old. Haha. Bookmarking this post, I’ll send the link to my cousin who has children aged 7 and 5.

We’ve been teaching phonics to our 3 year old, so this would be a great way to reinforce some of the lessons in a fun way. Kids remember music so quickly.
