Andrew & Polly are an amazing group out of LA. They have a fantastic sound that kids everywhere will love. When I first heard their new album, Odds&Ends, I couldn’t help but think their music sounded familiar. Well, if you’ve ever watched the Nick Jr show Wallykazam, you’ve heard this amazing duo’s music.

Their new album,Odds&Ends, is set to be released on September 25 and it features a perfect mix of original songs and fantastic cover songs (including George Harrison’s Here Comes The Sun) I love the expansive collection of different instruments played on this album and praise the artists for playing all but two of them! You’ll be able to scoop up their new album on iTunes next month! They also have an adorable Podcast for children called Ear Snacks They interview other children and talk about a variety of different topics. Check it out on their website. Check out a live performance of their song Little Bitta You

I was so excited when I found out that this group was started by Greg Attonito. If you don’t know who that is, he’s an amazing punk rock singer and the lead vocalist for Bouncing Souls. My husband LOVES Bouncing Souls and now he can share a love with my son. Don’t worry, this isn’t a kids punk album. It is a fantastic and fun set of songs great for kiddos. I loved their positive and encouraging messages in these songs. Their positive outlook on life really shines through with their songs.

Play Date won a variety of awards for their last album, including the 2014 Parents Choice Award! Their new album, We All Shine, was just released and I’m sure will earn them many future awards. My favorite song on this album has to be, Ninja Pajamas. It’s an adorable song about being a ninja in your dreams. My son loved the message (well of course it’s about ninjas and he’s a 5 year old boy) and the hip hop sound. We all loved the variety of different sounds featured! You can check out the song Numbers from their previous album below.

Make sure you’re following both these amazing artists on social media so you don’t miss out on new realeases and important song information! Want to win these amazing albums?? Enter below for your own copies!

These look amazing! I love when artists turn their love of music towards a positive learning tool for children. Love the videos too!

We love to sing a variety of songs but we have always loved to sing Laurie Beckner’s song – Under a Shady Tree with our daughter!
