It’s Tea Time with #OrganicIndia and #MomsMeet

Tea is something that we really love in our house. We normally go for black tea (in regular and iced form) and I don’t really have a lot of experience with a variety of different types. I was really excited when Moms Meet offered us a chance to review a variety of different teas from Organic India. The weather finally cooled down and sadly I got my first cold of the season. Perfect timing for tea taste testing!

I was really impressed with Organic India when I learned about their business and product. They only have 100% organic and natural products. They care about sustainability and work with thousands of family farmers in India to create certified organic farmlands. They pay premium prices to these farmers that farm with sustainable practices. I can’t say enough about how much I love companies that promote not only sustainability but also are working to improve farming communities. I was already impressed and I hadn’t even tried the tea yet. Tulsi tea is full of antioxidants and offers stress relief, increased energy and natural immune system support. These teas from Organic Indea are USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten free and vegan. They really are perfect for anyone to feel free about using.

My sample box of tea included seven full size boxes of tea. It also came with and adorable mason jar glass and a reusable shopping bag (more love for the environment). I was really excited about trying all the different varieties. Each box of tea is clearly labeled with the benefits of that tea. Some were caffeinated and other were caffeine free. I could try tea before bed and first thing in the morning.

I liked the the Pomegranate tea as a great mid day pick-me-up. It contained just the right amount of caffeine to get me through the rest of the day without keeping me up at night. I really enjoyed the Rose tea before bed. It was floral and very nice. The one thing I noticed about all the varieties was the strong fragrance. You could really smell the tea as soon as you opened the package. I liked how much stronger it was than other varieties I have had in the past.

While I liked some varieties a lot more than others, there really wasn’t one I disliked. I think that this review has really changed me into an avid tea person. I love the health benefits of the Tulsi tea from Organic India and I love supporting a company that supports sustainability and small agriculture. I can drink a tea I enjoy and know that it comes from a company that supports the environment. You can follow Organic India on Facbook and Twitter to find all the latest news and promotions.
