My Thoughts

I was a huge Winne the Pooh fan growing up and I had no idea the story behind the beloved characters. You’d think that someone with a degree in literature would know this but I somehow missed this fact. This movie was a tough one for me as a parent. We so badly love sharing all the moments of our child’s life and how often to we stop and just experience the memories we are making? I know that I keep a lot of my children’s lives private from my writing because I’m very concerned with internet safety but what I share on private social media is different. This film actually made me stop and consider what I’m sharing in this society of “sharing”. While my story will never be to the level of Christopher Robin, it’s still something to think about. This film was really fantastic and well done. Definitely a must see this season.
