Fresh Baby Review!

Childhood obesity is a real problem in our country. With all the junk food out there it’s easy for kids to make quick and unhealthy choices, especially if they haven’t been exposed to healthy eating alternatives. Healthy eating starts early and The Fresh Baby company strives to help families get what they need to do just that! There website is full of products, tips and recipes to help your family get the healthy start they need.

I was overweight as a child and it was a life long struggle. My parents tried to make healthy meals for us, but twenty years ago we didn’t have all the information we have now. I remember having soda and sugary drinks all the time. We rarely had just water. Today we know all the problems too much sugar can cause. My children only drink water or milk and sugary items are saves for special occasions. I don’t want my children to have to go through the emotional pain (and of course physical difficulties) of being overweight.

I was so excited to partner up with Fresh Baby and review two of their awesome new products. We got to test out a silicone travel cup and a popsicle maker!

The cup was perfect for traveling and was the perfect portion size for a snack. We filled it with an organic cheese puff that my children love. My daughter loved her new “cup” and carried it around. The silicone was soft and made it easy for her to get her snack out without spilling everywhere!

The popsicle maker was so much fun. The silicone mold was awesome for easy removal (which is important when toddlers are excited for their treat). The cute carrot shape made it easy for little hands to hold. They are also a perfect portion size not like some of the huge products out there. I loved that I knew exactly what was in my children’s great. There was no added sugar, just the delicious apple cider we used. Fresh Baby has a recipe for creamy popsicles on their website that we can’t wait to try!

I really enjoyed the products but I enjoyed the message that Fresh Baby promotes. Healthy eating is so important and I love that they are helping families start early! As with anything you teach children, starting habits early will help them stick!

Disclosure: We received these products to facilitate an honest review. All opinions are one hundred percent my own.

My boys love popsicles, so I am sure that would go over really big with my two!

While my kids are not heavy at all, i do argue with them about what they are snacking on.. but ultimately it is our fault for buying the junk with the good.. we are in the process of changing all that now.. since i wind up eating all the junk.

I always loved to make those. So much fun. The containers to make them used to be pretty limited, looks like they have branched out with containers that are much more fun!

I love the carrot shape for the pops!! I would love to be able to do something with that for my youngest to get in things she wouldn’t normal want to eat. She’s picky like I am I’m afraid!

This sounds like a great product. I would have loved to make my own popsicle when my son was little. The snack cup would have been great for Cheerios.

I love the idea of an unbreakable cup that resists spills. Toddlers are VERY good at making messes.

My mom used to make popsicles with my sister and me! It really makes wonderful memories!

I think every household with a kid should have a popsicle maker because kids loves popsicles. Parents can make all sorts of shapes to make food interesting for their babies. 🙂

We love to make our own pops. That cup looks similar to something that I had for my daughters when they were younger. It worked well to contain cheerios or other dry little snacks.

My kids love making their own pops too. They’re great to use when the kids have sore throats too.

I use my popsicle maker to make amazing popsicles from Blackberry surprise to Apple and Orange supreme. I make them all year round and getting fruits and vegetable’s is easier.

I agree that the habits started early will probably last into their adult years. You’re definitely helping instill good patterns!

I love homemade popcicles and haven’t had any in forever. I could really go for one with pumpkin or apples in it right now.

My boys are past the phase of needing these items, but I’m amazed at the new products that come out all the time to help make things easier for mommies. I have a nephew due in November, I’ll have to add these to the list of goodies to buy.
