Danny Weinkauf, Grammy winner and longtime bassist for They Might Be Giants, released his second children’s music album, Red Pants Band, on July 8th. Fully funded by a PledgeMusic campaign, and power packed with 15 infectiously catchy and memorable tunes, the album offers fun beats and intelligent educational topics from cloud science and botany to astronomy and individuality. Our Thoughts
I have a special love for famous artists that take time to make kids music even after they have found success. I work with children for a living and love when others find how important these youngest members of society are for our future. I also secretly love when children’s music is fun to listen to for adults as well. This album is one of those special albums that children and adults will love (I promise you’ll enjoy this one with your children!). It’s upbeat and fun and educational! Science is one of my favorite subjects to teach the children and this album has tons to share! It’s a fantastic edition to your child’s playlist this summer!
