If you’re like a lot of moms out there, you probably have trouble getting your kids to eat their veggies. My Monster fights us on healthy stuff no matter what it is. He could love it one day and despise it the next. Meal time is a nightmare and I’m tired of fighting the battle. The one time I can be absolutely sure he’ll eat a veggie is if it’s in pouch form. It may be a texture issue for him so I’ll take it if he’ll eat it.
Buying the organic pouches can get expensive. They range from $1.25- 1.99 a piece! That’s just craziness, especially when he’s four and a half and can totally eat real food. I know I can make a mix of fruits and veggies he’ll love, I just need the delivery method he won’t fight me on.
Basic Best Reusable Food pouches are great for this. They are really easy to use. The bottoms open and close securely so that you can easily fill them with your homemade goodies. The pouches are BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free and the comply with ALL FDA REGULATIONS. Our favorites right now are sweet potatoes, apples and a hint of cinnamon. They can’t get enough. The pouches are freezer safe so we can make big batches and save some for later!!
These pouches are amazing money saving tools. I love that I can put healthy and organic fruits/veggies in there and still have tons extra to freeze for later. If you’re a fan of DIY babyfood these are great!
