We’ve all seen the articles talking about the benefits of aromatherapy and there are so many ways to add scents to your world. From candles to essential oils there is a wide variety of tools to you can use if you’re interested in jumping into aromatherapy. One of my favorite ways to benefit from aromatherapy is through essential oils and an oil diffuser. They are easy to use and widely available. However, I recommend doing a little research before jumping head first into the land of essential oils. Not all oils are safe for everyone. For example, some oils are dangerous for pets. You’ll want to make sure you aren’t using an oil around the house that can hurt one of your furry family members.
Once you’ve done your research and have found the type of oils that are safe for your family, it’s time to check out diffusers. We got a chance to work with Organic Aromas recently and LOVED our new diffuser. When I was researching the company I was immediately impressed with the fact that they have an entire safety section on their site. They are committed to helping consumers use oils safely and responsibly and that is very important to our family. They offer gorgeous diffusers that fit in with any decor. We have the Opulence diffuser. It’s beautiful and works really well. It’s like having a functional piece of art in your home. Check out the video below on this diffuser.
This diffuser is different from others on the market as it doesn’t use heat or water, making it safer to use anywhere! It comes with a proprietary “touch sensor” light switch, 2 minutes ON, 1 minute off (stops after 2 hours – but the light remains on) “usage cycle” so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. I love this feature (totally guilty of forgetting these). They have plenty of options available and even have their own selection of certified Organic Oils.
