Alastair Moock & Friends: All Kinds of You and Me CD Review & Giveaway

All kinds of you and me

I love when I can review and celebrate local talent. Alastair Moock is a Boston based, Grammy nominated musician set to release a family cd on June 19th. His album celebrates difference, individuality and tolerance. This message is so important today. Even with all the media attention given to celebrating and accepting people with differences, the world has a long way to go.

As you all know, I work with young children. It has always been part of our curriculum to teach inclusion. We celebrate each other’s differences and work really hard to make our school a neutral place. Starting early is such an important tool in teaching life long tolerance. This CD is perfect for teaching children to celebrate what makes us individuals.

My favorite song on the album is The Bright Side of Me. I loved the message in that song. It talks about how you should look at all the great things about a person. It’s a perfect song for finding positive and happy things in every situation and every person. The kids loved the music and found it easy to sing along. Alastair Moock’s album launch is set for June 27th at the Parlor Room in Northampton, MA. They are offering my fans a chance to win two tickets and an autographed CD. Enter below
