It’s the time of year when family traditions are even more important. Our family doesn’t have an elf like many families. We have other family traditons like our Advent calendars and decorating the tree. It’s all about the family time. As our kiddos get older it’s harder and harder to get everyone together to spend time as a family. I’m always looking for a way to get everyone excited about more family time.
Well, the fantastic couple over at Adventure Santa have come up with a unique new family tradition for the holiday season. Adventure Santa is a plush Santa that communicates with the Big Guy at the North Pole. Letters with new family adventures are left in Adventure Santa’s backpack. Your kiddos find a new mission from Santa that centers around spending time together as a family!
I love the idea of togetherness and spending more time together. Our kids are only little once and I know that I’m going to miss these times when they’re grown. I’m glad that we started this fun family tradition now. You can order your own Adventure Santa on their website.
The Adventure Kit includes a children’s book that gives you the backstory of how Adventure Santa came to be. It also includes an Adventure Santa plush doll with adventure pack and 10 blank note cards for activity notes from Santa. Challenge yourself and your family to find new and creative ways to make memories together!
How it Works
- “Santa” will leave a note in his adventure pack with an activity for the family.
- You can put Adventure Santa where the kids can easily find him (or choose to let him hide!)
- When the kids find their note and know their activity, go do it together!
- You can put Adventure Santa where the kids can easily find him (or choose to let him hide!)

I love making cookies with the kids. We make a bunch of different kinds and shapes and give them as gifts from them. The effort they put in is awesome and they are so proud to be giving something they made.
