7 Ideas To Plan The Perfect Wedding

Planning the perfect wedding might sound difficult, but it’s doable providing you stick to a few key pointers. Below, you will find some ideas that will make your wedding extra special to you, so take a look and see what you can do!

1.Ignore Tradition And Do What Feels Right To You

Weddings are tradition, but that doesn’t mean you have to stick to some of the traditions in them that don’t mean anything to you. For example, the whole ‘you’re not supposed to see the bride before the wedding’ thing. You can do away with that if you wish and have some quiet time together beforehand. Don’t feel under pressure to stick to a ‘traditional’ wedding layout if some of it isn’t right for you.

2. Make Sure The Both Of You Are Involved In The Planning Stages

Try to get your partner as involved in the planning stages as you are. Some of them will be happy to help you select things like flowers, colors, and themes, as well as put your guest list together. Just bear in mind that there will likely need to compromise on both sides.

3. Select Entertainment That Will Get Your Guests Dancing

You want your guests to have the best time, so make sure you select entertainment that will make them laugh and dance all night. Look into great wedding bands, and even things like photo booths so they have some cool souvenirs to take home. It’s all well and good designing a wedding that’s perfect for the two of you, but your guests will likely spend a lot of money on a present, their outfit, and their accommodation, so you should make sure they’ll have a nice time too.

4. Book Your Chosen Vendors As Far In Advance As You Can

Look for vendors and book them as far in advance as you can to make sure that you get them. Your photographer, caterer, and anybody else you would like at your wedding should all be booked in advance. Some people book up years in advance if they are especially good, so don’t wait around! We had everything booked 18 months out to hold on to what we really wanted!

5. Be Selective With The Guest List

You shouldn’t feel under pressure to invite somebody to your wedding that you’re not sure about. If you haven’t spoken to them for years or you feel obligated for some other reason, avoid inviting them out of guilt. This is my one regret from our wedding. Make the list for you not everyone else.

6. Choose Only Your Very Best Friends To Be Involved In The Ceremony

When it comes to selecting bridesmaids and other people involved in the ceremony, select people you have been friends with for a while, and your relatives too. The last thing you want to do is look back at your wedding pictures and realize you don’t speak to people who were involved anymore.

7. Don’t Forget What’s Truly Important

This is all about you marrying the love of your life, so don’t forget about that as you plan. Little things may not go to plan, but you still get to marry the love of your life!
