RWP Zoo offering free admission through end of year!!!

As a gift to the community, Roger Williams Park Zoo is opening its doors to the public free of charge beginning Tuesday, December 20 through Saturday, December 31. Visitors are invited to don their most festive attire and enjoy a day of fun at the Zoo with family and friends.

NOTE: The Zoo is closed on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

Visitors are also encouraged to give back by bringing non-perishable food items, gently-used coats and/or new warm winter wear to benefit the Rhode Island community. Items can be dropped in the boxes located at Zoo admissions.

Keeper Talks are offered at 11:30 a.m. daily, featuring a different animal habitat each day. And in honor of school vacation week, additional Welcome Winter Celebration activities begin on Tuesday, Dec. 27, including:

    11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Roger the red panda mascot at admissions
    11:30 a.m. – Keeper Talk, located at a different animal habitat each day
    1:30 p.m. – Animal Encounter in Hasbro’s Our Big Backyard Great Room

Roger Williams Park Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with last admission at 3:30 p.m. For more information, please visit rwpzoo.org.
