Vegitarian For Weight Loss Book Review

Vegetarian is something I really didn’t know all that much about. I love veggies and have been trying to eat healthier and change my lifestyle after my second baby so this was a perfect opportunity.

The book goes into detail on the different types of vegetarians. I’m a semi-vegetarian because I eat chicken and fish but not red meat (allergy related not choice). Who knew?

I loved the explanations of foods to avoid and foods to be careful of. It’s amazing what’s hidden in some of our favorite foods. For example some tortillas are made with lard….definitely not what you want for weight loss or vegetarianism.

The recipes in this book are fantastic. The directions are very easy to follow and pretty simple. I tried the Banana and Avocado Smoothie first. I have to say I was skeptical but I wanted to give it a try. I loved the texture this smoothie had. It was filling and really good. The Banana Walnut Bread was amazing and totally worth heating up the house to bake (something I normally avoid in the summer!).

Vegetarianism is definitely not something I had ever considered but with a wide range of options I think it fits my life more than I expected. If you’d like to check this book out you can find it on amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I tried to go full vegetarian and I have a few friends who are vegans. Personally, it’s not for me but I respect anyone’s food lifestyle, so long as they respect mine.

I grew up in a house with a chickenatarian (my mom ate chicken and fish, as well). I love vegetarian meals, but I also love meat. It’s a nice balance for me.

I though about being vegetarian, however I do have a lot of different vegetables. Interesting book.

Looks like a great book! I was vegetarian for years and I felt amazing and healthy. I need to get back to that!

Ok that Banana Walnut Bread looks sooo good right now. I see pecans on top! That’s how you really make it.

This book is great gift go some of my vegan friends. My husband and I talked about becoming vegetarians. Well, we eat lots of veggies but still we love to eat meat. 🙂
