I have always loved the idea of essential oils. I love the smells and have always heard great things about their benefits. I love the smell of peppermint and was excited to experiment with peppermint oil. I had to do some serious research though because I have zero experience with mixing any kind of oil.
Pure peppermint oil is supposed to have great benefits in the home as well as the body. It’s safe for topical use but needs a carrier oil. Basically that means you have to dilute oil with another oil (like olive oil or Coconut oil). You can find directions on many websites on how to dilute it appropriately.
Peppermint Oil is said to relieve headaches and anxiety, helps ease respiratory problems, works to ease symptoms of asthma, helps with stomach and bowel spasms, as well as helps to relieve fever, and arthritis pain. While I have no experience in these areas, I do find essential oils great for aromatherapy. I personally find the smells soothing and they help me to relax. I used the oil in my candle warmer and it made my room smell fantastic.
I’d love to learn more about essential oils and their benefits if I had more time. I love the way they smell and I really loved the peppermint. You can find this and other oils on amazon.

I have been checking out essential oils recently myself, and I feel that they would be better than popping a pill. I have started using them in a limited way until I know more.
