Wanting to have whiter teeth is something everyone wants. I’m an avid coffee drinker so I’ve been trying whitening toothpaste for years…it’s not really working. Professional teeth whitening in an office is ridiculously expensive so that’s out of the question. I was extremely excited when I was offered the opportunity to try Smile Brilliant.
When you get the kit in the mail the first step is to make the mold of your teeth. It’s simple and they even give you spare supplies in case you make a mistake. It really is pretty cool. I’ve never made a mold of my teeth before so I had no idea what to expect. I recommend doing it alone in the privacy of your bathroom (you’re not making the most attractive face as the mold sets).
Once your mold is set you mail it back in the prepaid envelope. They send you back your custom made whitening trays in a few days. They are pretty cool and fit perfectly. Smile Brilliant sent me the cast they made of my teeth so that I could show you in my review. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever received (totally my inner forensic nerd coming out). I think they are really cool and look exactly like my teeth.
Ok on to the whitening. I was afraid it was going to hurt because I have sensitive teeth. It really didn’t. You take the syringe an place a little bit of the whitening gel in the trays and stick them on. You can leave them on from 15 minutes to 3 hours. I did 30 minutes each time. The longer you leave them on the better your results. I love that each syringe equals three or four uses. I love a product that gives you a lot for your money.
I love the results I’ve seen so far. After the first couple of uses you can totally see the difference. I’m sure it will be even more dramatic as I continue to use the product. That’s pretty cool. I remember having to go to the dentist office to have trays made and pay an outrageous amount of money. Teeth whitening has come a long way and it’s way more convenient.
