Every year I see insane over the top Easter baskets on my social media feeds. I love Easter but I think that it’s meant to focus on other things besides the Easter basket. In an effort to not turn my baskets into a huge gift production, I’ve put together simple, inexpensive and adorable Easter baskets for my kids this year!
We hit up Kmart for their fantastic sales and of course we always save and earn with their Shop Your Way Rewards program. If you check the sales you can find awesome items for your baskets without breaking the bank. We found amazing plain baskets and my crafty best friend turned them into troll baskets for us!!!
I love Lindt chocolate and so do my littles. You can grab Lindt Gold Bunnies on sale for only $2.50 until April 8th! They are adorable and make perfect additions in our baskets. I also love to include a few other candies in the basket because I don’t let them have much during most of the year. Kmart has a great sale on packaged Easter chocolates from 4/9-4/15!
I like to include a few other healthier snacks in the baskets so it’s not all candy. These also double as school snacks so I’ve saved a little money there as well. Kmart’s Smart Sense brand snacks are a great way to grab healthy snacks and save money. You earn 25% in Shop your way Points with $10+ of Smart Sense Food & Drug Products until 5/1. Perfect time to stock up and earn points for future rewards! I love the Smart Sense dried apples as a healthy snack to pack for school so adding them to the Easter basket is a win for everyone!
I’ve kept to my budget and created easy and fun Easter baskets that are perfect for how we celebrate. No matter how you celebrate the holiday you can save money with the great sales at Kmart and Shop Your Way Rewards. Need a little extra help with your shopping budget?
