We love holidays in my classroom. It’s fun to incorporate themed crafts with our holiday lesson plans. Valentine’s Day is always one of our favorites because we love to celebrate love. This year we are learning all about spreading love to our friends and family. Thanks to Oriental Trading’s Valentine’s Day selections, we have lots of crafty ways to spread love and joy!
I love using Oriental Trading craft projects for my class. These fun craft projects come with EVERYTHING you need to complete the project. There is no scrambling for additional pieces to finish a project. This is so important when doing a craft with preschoolers. If you aren’t ready to go from the start they will lose interest fast!
We made these adorable Cupcake Magnets to decorate our door. They were really easy to make and they came out adorable! The pack contained twelve individual kits and contained everything to make the magnets. I loved that all the pieces had adhesive packs. My students could peel and stick the different parts with very little help. They love showing their independence with these crafts.
We also grabbed everything we needed for our class Valentine’s Day party. From paper plates and table decor to Valentine’s Day Card Holders, we found everything we needed. They even have a great selection of Valentine’s Day cards! I picked out an adorable Bacon and Eggs card to give to my students (it included a sweet little treat too). Right now they have a great sale going on with select Valentine’s day items up to 60% off!
