Looking for Easy Game Day Snacks? Try Mini Chicken Tacos Lightened up with Chobani Non-Fat Greek Yogurt!
One of my New Years resolutions was to eat healthier and work on maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I know for some the thought of eating healthy means missing out on party favorites. I’m not missing out on anything! I came up with a great game day snack lightened up with the help of Chobani!
When game day is here you don’t want to be in the kitchen all day making snacks. I wanted to find something that could be made ahead in a crockpot so I can enjoy my day and my guests. This simple recipe is easy, affordable and healthy!
Mini Chicken Tacos
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 jar of your favorite salsa
- 1 small tomato chopped
- chopped lettuce of your choice
- mini soft taco shells
- Chobani plain non-fat greek yogurt
Combine the chicken and the salsa in the crockpot. Cook on low for four hours or high for eight. Shred chicken in the crockpot (I just used two forks) and let it sit for 30 min. Then build your mini tacos however you like! Use the Chobani in place of traditional sour cream to add protein to your tacos and save on fat and calories. Plus YUM!
Head over to Chobani’s website to see other delicious ways to use Chobani in your cooking! There are so many things I want to try!! Enjoy your GameDay fun. Even if your team doesn’t win your snacks will!
